The Logic of Good Drama - Part R

You may believe it is time to review this series of seminars by reflecting upon the history of your experiences of the logic of good drama.

First, there are several other matters to reflect upon.

The Logic of Good Drama - Part Q

This month began in this ethereal theatre with a special preview.  Were you there?

If so, you will have been provided there with important information about the logic of good drama.  A follow-up event is scheduled for a week hence, on 27 November.  Do you intend to be there?

The Logic of Good Drama - Part P

Save for the wild force of Nature, nothing moves in this world that is not Greek in its origin.  Democracy has its origins in Greece.  Democracy is the bearer of Liberty.

The Logic of Good Drama - Part O but not yet Parto

In the logic of good drama, time is of the essence.  There is not a moment to waste.  There may be pregnant pauses.  There may be brief moments of rest.  There are likely to be several changes in pace.

Holding the attention of the audience is paramount.

The Logic of Good Drama - Part N

Does the logic of good drama have anything to do with financial considerations?

Does the logic of good drama have anything in common with the logic of good journalism?

These are just two of the questions to be examined here today.

The Logic of Good Drama - Part M

Throughout history, drama has been used for political purposes.  It has been commissioned mainly to reflect the purported political grandeur of the commissioner.

Wednesday, 15 November 2017

The Logic of Good Drama - Part L

Many persons in the public eye mistake the popularity for their work with popularity for themselves as people.  They may believe a high salary equates with popularity or competence or some other vague criteria associated with money.

Tuesday, 14 November 2017

The Logic of Good Drama - Part K

The etymology of the word theatre involves the act of observing.  A theatre is a place to observe something.  Another name for a theatre is a playhouse.

The word drama means action.

The Logic of Good Drama - Part J

Memories are rarely expressed logically.  They are usually expressed emotionally.

Your knowledge is merely a jumble of strangely connected memories.

Here we are for Part J in this series on the logic of good drama.

What are your memories of the earlier parts?

What have you found to be most memorable, and why?

Who do you believe deserves a memorial in relation to these seminars?

To whom will you dedicate your next performance on the world stage?

What is logical about drama?

The Logic of Good Drama - Part Eye

Playfulness is an essential part of drama.  Although playing may often be viewed as illogical, at least from the point of view of perplexed spectators, there are important things to learn from fully consensual role-playing.

Saturday, 11 November 2017

The Logic of Good Drama - Part H

Drama often expresses bullying.  Overcoming the influence of bullies is at the heart of logic and justice.

Friday, 10 November 2017

The Logic of Good Drama - Part G

The management of all situations must be as reasonable as possible in the minds of truly heroic persons.  This tends to require careful delegation.  Unfortunately, even good management has its antagonists.  And bad management is always run by antagonists.

The Logic of Good Drama - Part F

I am here today with all my junior assistants, my senior assistants and my principal assistant.  We are to do the checking together, with your co-operation.

Firstly, we need to make sure you have paid the $10,000 required of you for attendance at this series of seminars.

Secondly, we need to make sure you have answered all the questions asked of you in a suitably artistic fashion.

The Logic of Good Drama - Part E

It is often forgotten that there can be logic without words.  That logic can be expressed through mime and dance and music and painting and drawing and sculpture and crafts, and in many other ways.  To retreat can itself be logical.

The Logic of Good Drama - Part D

There are many people who fear missing out on fascinating experiences.  That is why I am here so early today.  I am about to conduct an experiment.

I see that many of you are still trying to catch up with the readings.  Why else would you be here so early?

Monday, 6 November 2017

The Logic of Good Drama - Part C

Yesterday, before leaving here, I asked you to provide me with some answers, and some questions.  As I have not received any or your answers, or any of your questions, I am wondering what has happened to them.

The salon for world peace will take place upstairs tomorrow.  It starts at midnight tonight.

Have you ever had the privilege of attending?

Recently, a presentation took place upstairs on the subject of peace and privilege

Were you there?

If not, this may be a good time, to update yourself on what has been happening.

A Special Preview

As we are now into a new month, this special preview will provide a few intriguing glimpses of the events ahead.

During future presentations in this ethereal theatre, there are likely to be at least a few reviews presented.  Those reviews may relate to popular culture, non-popular culture or unpopular culture, or a mixture of different cultures within and/or beyond those cultural categories.

Toi Toi Toi Twaklin

Superstitions are rife in the performing arts, just as they are in many relatively unenlightened activities.

Toi toi toi may sound pretentious to outsiders, but in the performing arts, its utterance is a form of therapy for the hearers.

The Harmonious Interplay of Fairness Ensembles

Over the years, here in the Adelaidezone digital arts quarter, online visitors have had the chance to experience epiphanies of peace and enlightened rights for all humans.

During interviews and auditions for various roles, aptitude, attitude, education, artistry and fairness have been respectfully and objectively considered.

The Dangers of Charm and Charisma

Some people appear to be naturally charismatic.  They tend to be highly persuasive, even when they are wrong.

Other people pretend to be charismatic.  If they are believable, they can succeed in fooling people into doing foolish things.

Both types of people have the ability to persuade, much like the people with charm.

Motivated by Enlightenment

There is something very sad about people who are only motivated by money.

There is also something very sad about people who are mainly motivated by money.

Few people appear to be mainly motivated by enlightenment.

Entirely Exclusive Experiences

Even if you have already partaken of many inclusive experiences in this ethereal theatre, and although inclusive access has regularly been supplied, free of charge, to all sorts of ordinary members of the public, such generosity has its obvious limits.

After completing the public tour of this ethereal theatre and attending several of the free presentations and performances, you may have found it possible to obtain tickets for exclusive access to an extraordinary range of areas and events in, around and from Villa Twaklinilkawt.  That is only likely to have occurred, however, if your strong, enlightened leadership has often been on display here and elsewhere.

Exclusive Experiences - Partly if not Wholly

Here in the ethereal theatre of the Twaklinesque in Villa Twaklinilkawt, in the Adelaidezone digital arts quarter of Adelaide in Australia, there are many enlightening experiences on offer.  The majority of those experiences are exclusively available to respectable patrons of the avant-garde.

Tuesday, 17 October 2017

Volunteer Avant-Garde Digital Theatre Guides Required

If you are already at the forefront of the 21st century artistic avant-garde, you will soon want to volunteer to become a digital guide in this ethereal theatre.  There are always vacancies whenever suitable candidates make contact.

Monday, 16 October 2017

Victory Over Predators and Their Enablers

A woman or girl in emotional distress is often derided as histrionic.

A lecherous man is often described as a real a man.

Saturday, 14 October 2017

The Main Interval

There is often a long interval during events in this ethereal theatre.

Many audience members then go off for a while to enjoy the refreshments in the various garden pavilions.

Thursday, 12 October 2017

Launch of the Prompt Book for World Peace

Welcome to this very special and highly exclusive, virtual, digital and ethereal occasion.

The scheduling of this event began an hour ago.  The planning began properly an hour and a half ago.  The initial management team initially gathered over lunch, about five hours ago.

Imagining an Affordable World of Art

Unless you have an imagination of your own, access to the imaginations of all sorts of other people will be difficult for you.  You may sometimes think you are experiencing the manifestations of other people's imaginations yet how can you be sure of that?  If you do not have an imagination of your own, answering that question accurately will itself be very difficult for you.

Exclusive Experiences Likely to Become More Inclusive in the Longer Term

Good evening, especially to currently despondent Adelaideans.

Tonight's very special presentation includes many exclusive experiences likely to become more inclusive in the longer term.  Please make yourselves comfortable, if at all possible.

When people feel despondent, they tend to believe they are the only sufferers.  This is the case even when they are surrounded by many other people who feel rather miserable themselves.  Even seemingly cheerful persons are truly down in the dumps whilst forcing a smile.

Inclusive Experiences - Parts One and Two

When some people perceive themselves to be winners and other people perceive themselves as losers, do inclusive experiences exist?

Yesterday, a highly inclusive grand finale took place here:

Part one

Part two

Part three

Part four

Were you there?  If so, how many of your preferred associates did you invite to attend with you?  Did you possibly additionally supply various less-appreciated acquaintances with a chance to experience the event with you?

Saturday, 30 September 2017

A Grand Finale - Part Four

Dame Nellie Melba has just arrived in the Adelaidezone from her Victorian birthplace, dressed in a tiger-skin coat.  She is likely to begin singing madly again at any moment, just as she has since the middle of this afternoon.

A Grand Finale - Part Three

If you have missed parts one and two of this major event, that is a great pity.  Could anything be more important at this present moment than being here and being well informed about contextual matters?

A Grand Finale - Part Two

The September Adelaide news briefing yesterday was assisted by a panel of distinguished guests.  This is often the case, whether stated at the time or not.  You may have been invited to witness such an occasion.

A Grand Finale - Part One

Although the Adelaidezone digital arts quarter always supplies the grandest expressions of Australian culture, no-one suitably associated with this location would ever crow about superiority.  Competitiveness is often ugly, frequently smelly and even somewhat sweaty, hence its inevitable incompatibility with the harmonious interplay of beauty, understanding and magnificence.

An Interplanetary Career

Several members of a delegation of Teapottians have just arrived here after spending the past few days amusing themselves at an international Adelaidean conference.  They know that interplanetary commuting is not rocket science. They also know that space is full of junk, much like the oceans, cheap shops, landfill locations, most people's cupboards and the minds of most politicians.

Enlightening Reviews and Exciting Previews

Do you have an international career writing enlightening reviews?  If so, you are unlikely to have gained that distinguished reputation if you also write exciting previews.

Unlike the presentation of enlightenment, the presentation of excitement supplies a biased point of view.  Enlightened beings avoid being associated with hype and other forms of superficiality.

An International Career

Today at noon in the drawing room of Villa Twaklinilkawt, the monthly Adelaide briefing will again take place.  Were you at last month's briefing in the drawing room?  There was a presentation in this ethereal theatre beforehand.

August noon Adelaide briefing

Next month, the local briefing will take place here.  Have you attended other Adelaidean events in this location?  Is it your professional duty to be here today?

Wednesday, 27 September 2017

Imagining Nilkawt

Somewhere between the Nullabor and Naracoorte, Nilkawt is likely to exist.  The Nilkawtians have long known of the whereabouts of Nilkawt, but do you?

The ethereal head of state of Nilkawt is colloquially known as the Twaklinesque muse of the world.  Where does that personage most often privately reside when not in Nilkawt?

And where do you usually learn about - and imagine - places you have never visited?

Patrons of Enlightenment

It is with great pleasure that I am able to announce that this ethereal theatre currently remains open to patrons of enlightenment.  If you are not a patron of enlightenment, please leave immediately.

Friday, 25 August 2017

Local Effects

Today's monthly Adelaide briefing will again take place in the drawing room of Villa Twaklinilkawt at noon.  The occasion is likely to have many local effects.

Whether those effects will be detrimental or beneficial, or a mixture of the two, is yet to be known.  Whether the effects will have long-term consequences or be short-term inconveniences also remains open to speculation.

The Canary of Democracy

This is a special announcement on behalf of the future of Australian democracy.

The Adelaide Adagia Ensemble will be meeting at noon today in the drawing room of Villa Twaklinilkawt and not it this ethereal theatre.  Many distinguished guests have already been invited to attend. They have also already been informed of the change of venue.

Non-Popular Culture

Knowing the difference between the popular, the unpopular and the non-popular is usually a sign of enlightenment.  How enlightened are you, dear audience member?  What are your reasons for being here?  What are your expectations within this digital auditorium?  Are you expecting to audition?

Thursday, 20 July 2017

Directors of Enlightenment - Part Two

This morning, during the overture, you will have witnessed something remarkable.  If you were aware of that remarkableness, that is a sign of your enlightenment.

An overture is both an introduction and an invitation.  It invites you to listen further, and to respond at the appropriate time.  A director of enlightenment will do the same.

At the end of this morning's session of this two-part seminar, you were invited to take a digital tour of this ethereal theatre.  Was there anything remarkable about that?

You probably also had time for something to eat.  No-one here is expected to rush around, or to dawdle.  This is a location of moderation.

Directors of Enlightenment - Part One

What does it mean to direct successfully?  Does it depend on the ease of reaching the desired destination?

If you, dear audience member, have never considered yourself to be a director of any sort, why is that?  Have you never been free enough to choose a destination for yourself?

A Peaceful Day

Unless you have a ticket for tonight's exclusive performance here in relation to the Mozarty Party World Peace and Global Prosperity Tour, it is unlikely you will experience a particularly peaceful day today, even if you are a regular attendee at the ethereal proprietor's serene salon for world peace.

Saturday, 27 May 2017

The Ethereal World Peace Award Ceremony

Enlightened ladies, enlightened gentlemen and other enlightened persons,

As it is now 3 o'clock in the afternoon in the Adelaidezone, and therefore time for tea here in Villa Twaklinilkawt, you are invited to attend the Ethereal World Peace Award Ceremony in this ethereal theatre.  It begins in 42 seconds time.

Please leave now if you do not wish to participate.  That is especially likely to be the case if you are not an enlightened person and you have no intention of becoming one.

City of Dreams

City of my dreams!

A perfect place
For possibilities
Of peace and hope
And truth,
And love.

Planet Earth Comedy Show

As you may know, success in life, particularly financial success, has much to do with how you look and how you sound and how you smell.  Your competence, or lack of it, has very little to do with financial success, or your lack of it.

If you wish to appear on the Planet Earth Comedy Show over the coming months, how will you know how to look, sound and smell the part?

Do you think you look, sound, smell and think suitably for the part of a successful performer of comedy?

Adele Adelaide Adagia Review - Part Two

Hello again everyone.  It's me.  Nannerl.  I've just returned to Villa Twaklinilkawt from Adelaide Oval.

Adele Adelaide Adagia Review - Part One

Many members of the Adelaide Adagia Ensemble have gathered here to examine the first part of the curated critiquing assignment conducted by Nannerl Mozart.

Special Show: Home Town Story

This evening, here in Adelaide, many people are either likely to be listening to one or more open-air music concerts or trying to escape from the noise of one or more open-air music concerts, possibly in search of quieter interludes.

All Things Being Otherwise Equal

Everyone deserves a career on equal terms.  Apart from talent and effort, what else should distinguish one person from another, excluding the marketing?

Why is abuse so common? Why are so many careers ruined as a consequence of it?

Happy Birthday Most Arty Sir Mozarty Mozart

Good morning and welcome, dear guests, to this very special birthday celebration in the ethereal theatre of Villa Twaklinilkawt in the Adelaidezone digital arts quarter of Adelaide, Australia.

This event is likely to be even more special than last year.
